Australian National Botanical Gardens - The Australian National Botanic Gardens, nestled at the foot of Black Mountain, are devoted entirely to plants native to Australia. The Gardens have the finest collection of Australian flora in the world.

Australian War Memorial - The Memorial complex includes commemorative areas, a sculpture garden, gallery exhibits, research facilities, and function spaces.

Canberra Bicycle Museum - The Canberra Bicycle Museums features bicycles from all periods as well as literature, tools, riding equipment and bicycles from around the world.

Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex - The Complex houses one of just three tracking stations in the world linked to NASA's Deep Space control centre.  See space memorabilia,

Canberra Museum and Gallery - The Canberra Museum and Gallery integrates visual arts and social history in a range of exciting exhibitions, projects and education programs that explore Canberra's cultural and social issues and possibilities.

Canberra Nature Park - The many bush hills and ridges in Canberra such as Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie and Mount Taylor are known as Canberra Nature Park. Grazing kangaroos and colorful birds are a common sight as are beautiful wildflowers such as everlasting daisies and delicate orchids.

Canberra Railway Museum - The Canberra Railway Museum houses one of Australia's oldest operating steam locomotives the museum also houses Australia's biggest steam engine.

Cockington Green - Cockington Green in Canberra features meticulously crafted miniature buildings of Great Britain set within superbly landscaped gardens.

Corin Forest - A fun park for the whole family featuring a bobsled alpine slide, flying foxes and lots of winter recreation.

Old Parliament House - When Australia's Federal Government moved to Canberra in 1927, Old Parliament House was its first home.

Questacon - Experience an earthquake, see lightning made before your eyes, understand the science of cooking a meal, throwing a ball or making a telephone call. The centre offers more than 200 exhibits.

Royal Australian Mint - Visitors to the Royal Australian Mint can enjoy an explanation of coins and coin production, see money being made, make their own coin or buy collector coins and souvenirs.

ScreenSound Australia - ScreenSound Australia plays a leading role in preserving and collecting Australia’s unique film, television and sound heritage.  ScreenSound features exhibitions, screenings, live presentation, product releases as wel as a shop.

Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve - At Tidbinbilla you can glimpse the past way of life of Aboriginal people as well as the stories of European settlers.  You can walk among kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, birds and other wildlife in their own habitat.
