The Kit Carson County Carousel - Ride the only antique carousel in America that still has the original paint on the scenery and on the animals. The deer have real antlers and some of the horses have real horse tails. A fully restored 1912 Wurlitzer Monster Military Band Organ plays while the carousel goes around. It, and the drive machinery are enclosed in the center of the carousel by 45 Victorian oil paintings.

Overland Trail Museum - Located on Highway 6, east of the South Platte river, the Overland Trail Museum commemorates the historic westward migration of gold seekers and early pioneers.

Cheyenne Wells Old Jail Museum - Even law-abiding visitors to Cheyenne County love to spend a little time in "jail" where the Cheyenne County Museum served as the county's lock-up for nearly 75 years.

Fort Morgan Museum - Permanent and temporary exhibits that showcase the museum's collection. Signature exhibits on Plains military history, Colorado Indians, and bandleader Glenn Miller, who grew up in Fort Morgan.

Old Town - Go back in time at Burlington's own Old Town Museum, a recreated turn-of-the-century prairie town that features 21 fully restored, historical buildings, housed with authentic artifacts.

Elbert County Museum - Features a number of permanent and always changing exhibits preserving the history of Elbert County.

Wray Museum - As you enter the door of the Wray Museum, a life-sized model of a Bison Antiques greets you. Crafted by Lance Bohall, this sculpture gives the viewer a real sense of the size of the Bison hunted by the Paleo Indians 10,000 years ago.
