Bishop Castle - Located in south central Colorado. It started as a family construction project in 1969. So many people commented that it looked like a castle so the one room stone cottage became one of the largest one man projects in the world. The castle consists of 3 stories complete with a grand ballroom, soaring towers and bridges and a fire-breathing dragon. Admission is free. Explore the castle on your own. The castle is still a work in progress and the gift shop is the main source of funding for the continued construction. The castle dragon is fired up on weekends during the summer.
Santa's Workshop - A Christmas themed family amusement park located at the foot of Pike's Peak that has been in existence since 1956. At the center of Santa’s Workshop is the North Pole, an ice-covered pole that never melts. Surrounding the North Pole are a variety of gift shops, each with their own unique selection of toys & gifts. Don't be surprised if you see Santa himself!

Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame/Museum of American Cowboy - The only museum in the world devoted exclusively to the sport of rodeo and the men and women who have made it a world class sporting event. Visitors are treated to the Hall of Champions gallery, art exhibits, two video theatre presentations, rodeo & cowboy gear & memorabilia, live rodeo animals, rodeo arena, sculpture garden and a unique Rodeo America store.

Colorado Prison Museum - The remodeled facility now welcomes visitors to explore the history of Colorado Corrections. Individual MP3 and CD audio tours guide visitors through 32 cells filled with exciting exhibits and life sized models that link the past to the present in dramatic presentation. Rare, historic photographs depicting life in prison facilities, Displays of disciplinary paraphernalia used from 1871 to the present and much more.

The Manitou Cliff Dwellings - A rare historical treasure. Preserved under a protective red sandstone overhang, authentic Anasazi cliff dwellings, built more than 700 years ago, await you here. You are free to touch and even go inside these fascinating architectural remnants of an American Indian culture that roamed the Four Corners area.
Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site - Located at the edge of beautiful Garden of the Gods Park, the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is an educational, non-profit living history farm and museum.
Buena Vista Heritage Museum - The Old Chaffee County Courthouse, completed in 1882, now houses the Buena Vista Heritage Museum. Several rooms house exhibits about the rich history of the area.
