Fairview Museum of History and Art - The museum is full of historical data, artifacts pictures and artwork. Part of the museum is the Natural History Building which houses a full scale replica of a nearly fully intact Columbian mammoth.
Great Basin Museum
- The Great Basin Museum in Delta features exhibits of West Millard County's history, including geologic specimens, fossils, artifacts of early human occupation, early settlers, as well as an excellent archive of photographs, writing and documents about the area.
Tintic Mining Museum - This Museum is filled with relics from this towns history dating back to the late 1800's. As you make your way through the museum you can view several of the minerals that are common to this area. Mormon Miracle Pageant -
The
Mormon Miracle Pageant offers an exciting evening under a canopy of stars,
at the foot of the magnificent Manti Temple. The pageant features
three intertwined stories—the restoration of the gospel to the prophet
Joseph Smith, the witness of the Book of Mormon, and the journey of the
faithful Mormon pioneers to the beautiful Sanpete Valley.
Snow Goose
Festival - One
of the signs that winter is on it's way out is the annual congregation of
Lesser Snow Geese in the area around Delta. Each February thousands
of these beautiful white birds use the fields and waters between Clear
Lake Wildlife Management Area and Delta as a rest stop on their northern
migration.
